I loved following her relationships with the people around her and seeing how they changed throughout the book as her own focus and priorities changed. Scarlett was incredibly compelling to listen to and it was sometimes hard to disagree with her. I’m not sure what that tells you about me as a reader that I found the murderous POV much more interesting and was more intrigued when the younger one started to turn darker as well. I didn’t mind the university setting from the professor’s view but I was pretty bored with the young MC in this setting for much of the book. There are two POVs that switch back and forth and I definitely enjoyed one much more than the other.
